100 percent Organic means that all ingredients in a product have been grown or raised according to the USDA's organic standards. This would include plants cannot be grown with synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, genetic modifications, irradiation or sewage sludge.
I hope this helps.

Organically-grown produce are organic produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms or ionizing radiation.

Organic certification is a certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products.

Agricultural produce are organically certified only if they are organically-grown. However, there are cases that the farmers cannot afford certification, so it is just through sales talk that they can say it is an organic grown produce.

The term "organic" is defined by federal law, so you can not trust anybody to tell you what it mean. You have to look up the law. The law was written to protect growers and packers from lawsuits, not to guarantee anything to buyers.
