I am quite puzzled that Chinese people call it 'drinking morning tea,', especially in Cantonese. Do you have any ideas about this concern? What other practices in China when drinking tea? I hope I could have a good answer for this.

Cantonese people like to eat morning tea with dim sum and drink soup, The famous saying, “Guangdong is the paradise of dainty food," reminds people of the delicious Cantonese cuisine and the wisdom of Cantonese eating with limitless fancy.

"Dim sum for the Chinese is an energy ambulance." Dim sum is a specialty of Cantonese cuisine in China. Dim sum lovers first assess the transparency of the dough and the number of folds to see how masterly they are made, whether the chef was in a hurry or cooked with love. Then they evaluate the filling, such as the sweetness of the shrimp.

The Cantonese term for dim sum, 'yum cha', literally translates to 'drinking tea'. This term is used to describe the traditional practice of gathering with friends or family for tea and small snacks, such as dim sum. Other traditional tea practices in China include the Gongfu tea ceremony, in which tea is prepared and served in a ritualistic manner, and the Yixing teapot ceremony, in which tea is prepared and served in a Yixing teapot.
