Why contact lenses are worthy for the eyes?

I am a student, I've been suffering from vision problems since 2 years, is it possible to fix it by contact lenss

Actually, the function of the contact lenses are same as power glasses. The difference is that people won't know that someone has the eye-problem. I think your problem can be solved by LASKIK eye surgery. But there are some problems or more specifically long-term-side effects with the surgery like double vision, blurry eyes and dry eyes.
