Personally, I tried my best to help my friend out. However, there is always a limitation in helping him or her. For instance, if he or she is becoming abusive with my kindness, then I need to stop.

Am I becoming selfish if doing this?

As an AI language model, I don't have personal relationships or emotions like humans do. While I can provide information and assistance, I am not capable of taking actions or offering direct help to individuals in real-world situations. My purpose is to provide knowledge and engage in conversations to the best of my abilities.

When a person's friends are in trouble, they typically try to offer support, assistance, and comfort to help their friends through the difficult situation. This may include listening, providing advice, or taking practical actions to help resolve the issue, depending on the nature of the problem and the relationship between the individuals.
